What to Wear
The only dress code is in the Premier Enclosure.
Premier: Although there is no official dress code at Newcastle Racecourse, smart attire is preferred, especially in the Premier Enclosure. Trainers and sportswear are not permitted.
Grandstand and Paddock: Informal attire is acceptable although the removal of shirts is not permitted.

- Tickets: £18. Prices for Festivals vary
- Food and Drink: The Gosforth Park Suite Restaurant (pre-book on 0191 2362020). Private box facilities available for daily hire. There are also food outlets in the Colonel Porter Grandstand.
- Viewing: The Colonel Porter Grandstand looks directly over the Winner’s Enclosure, the Parade Ring and the Winning Post. You can also access all other areas of the course.
- Dress: Although there is no official dress code at Newcastle Racecourse, smart attire is preferred, especially in the Premier Enclosure.
Trainers and sportswear are not permitted.
- Tickets: £13. Prices for Festivals vary.
- Food & Drink: On the ground floor of the Grandstand there are various fast food outlets and bars, including the Picnic Basket with sandwiches, confectionary and snacks. The Nosebag provides chips, burgers and hot sandwiches and the family food hall has a self service restaurant serving both hot and cold meals. There are also terrace areas for picnics.
- Viewing: The course and Parade Ring can be seen from viewing terraces.

£7 discount on Premier and Grandstand tickets for Northern Rock Gosforth Park Cup Day on 30 June and Pertemps Fighting Fifth Day on 25 November.

This package includes entrance to the Grandstand and Paddock enclosure, racecard, £2 Tote betting voucher, welcome drink and burger meal. Book for more than 10 people and 1 person gains entry for free. Cost: £23. Must be booked in advance.

Children under 16 are allowed in for free when accompanied by an adult. On Bank Holiday fixtures there is normally additional entertainment and activities for children. Call the Racecourse for further information: 0191 236 2020.

There is free parking available.

Ramps, lifts and disabled facilities are available in both Enclosures.
