Newbury Racecourse is home to one of the Jump season’s great races, the Hennessy Gold Cup held at the end of November as part of the Newbury Winter Festival.
Summer highlights include the Juddmonte Lockinge Stakes as well as the Party in the Paddock series featuring racing and a live concert afterwards. The course offers 30 days of quality racing, excellent facilities, in house catering and a wide range of special offers.
There is no dress code except in the Members Enclosure and Grandstand Enclosure.
Grandstand: Racegoers within the Grandstand Enclosure are encouraged to dress smartly. Smart jeans and tailored shorts are acceptable, however bare tops, vests and tracksuits are not permitted.There is no dress code for children under 12.
Premier: Racegoers are encouraged to wear smart attire, and although a tie is not essential, it is preferred.No jeans, shorts, t-shirts, trainers, tracksuits or sportswear are permitted in the Premier Enclosure.

Premier
- Tickets: £22 - £27 (£40 on Hennessy Day)
- Food and Drink: A huge range of options are available. In the Hampshire Stand you’ll find the panoramic Hennessy Restaurant (01635 40015 for reservations) overlooking the course, the Champagne Bar, Blewbury Bar, and the Lambourn Bar overlooking the Winning Post. In the Berkshire Stand you'll find the Paddock View Bistro and Long Room Bar on the first floor and the Perfect Grounds Café on the ground floor providing coffee and sandwiches.
- Viewing: From The Berkshire Stand is superb, there are views of the Winning Post as well as the Parade Ring and Winner’s Enclosure as well as access to all the other facilities and Enclosures on the course.
- Dress: Racegoers are encouraged to wear smart attire, and although a tie is not essential, it is preferred.No jeans, shorts, t-shirts, trainers, tracksuits or sportswear are permitted in the Premier Enclosure.
- Tickets: £15 - £18 (£25 on Hennessy Day)
- Food & Drink: Copper King bar offers a range of real ale from Fuller’s and has a superb fish and chips bar. There are various other bars and the popular Racegoers Restaurant for which you can book online or call 01635 40015
- Viewing: The Grandstand provides full views of the track and you can also access the Parade Ring and the Winner’s Enclosure.

- Food & Drink: Enjoy a home made picnic or try the new facilities providing fresh sandwiches and snacks as well as bar facilities.
- Viewing: There is a stand with good views over the course. However, you are unable to visit the Parade Ring and Winner’s Enclosure.

- Student & Senior Discounts
Students are entitled to a £5 discount in the Premier Enclosure at all fixtures. Over 60s can also enjoy a £5 discount in any Enclosure at all weekday fixtures. Proof of ID required on gate.
- Racegoers Restaurant Package
Includes grandstand ticket, three course lunch/dinner, coffee and official programme. Cost£45 - £90.
- Hennessy Restaurant Package
Includes Premier ticket, glass of champagne on arrival, three course lunch/dinner, coffee, mineral water, light afternoon tea. Cost: £80 - £105.
- Annual Membership
Includes private raceday facilities in the Hampshire Stand, Berkshire Stand, and the Pall Mall Stand. Members receive newsletters and over 40 reciprocal days at racecourses both in the UK and abroad. - The Weekender
Valid for 15 weekend and evening fixtures in 2009, providing metal badge, car park label and use of Members facilities only. Cost: £189 or £169 before Christmas.
- Children
All children under the age of 18 are admitted free of charge to all enclosures excluding May 30th, July 10th and August 15th when there is a £5 charge for children for our Party in the Paddock events.

- Children
Children under 18 can enter for FREE when accompanied by an adult. There is also the Rocking Horse Nursery in the Grandstand Enclosure, open for evening and weekend meetings (2 hours maximum per child). Baby changing facilities are available in all enclosures.
- Betting
There are Tote and bookmaker facilities around the course.
- Parking
All car parking is free except for the Picnic Park where it is £7 per car.
- Disabled
There are good viewing facilities, plus suitable toilets are available in all enclosures.
- Hospitality
There is a variety of boxes and function rooms and facilities for parties of up to 1000 can be arranged. Contact the racecourse for further details on 01635 40015.
- Non-race days
