Grandstand
Centre Course
- Tickets:
£15.
- Food and Drink: The Nelson Stand provides a unique dining experience with panoramic views across the raccourse. Private tables of 6 or more can be booked in advance for all race meetings. Packages start from £75 per guest + VAT. The Club Dining Room offers a hot silver package. Please book a table in advance by calling the Racecourse Office on 01738 551597. A large bar upstairs in the Club Stand provides a panoramic view of the racecourse and overlooks the winning post, this bar also provides hot Pies Steaks Pies and Sandwiches. For bars try the Last Ditch Bar, the Parade Ring and the Paddock Bar.There are a wide range of restaurants and bars in this area including the Bindaree, with comfortable facilities providing a wide range of hot and cold meals & snacks during the day, sit in or take away, as well as some healthy eating options.
- Viewing:
The stand overlooks the Winning Post, there is access to all the course facilities and both the Winner’s Enclosure and Parade Ring.
Centre Course

£10 or £20 per car with a maximum of four adults
- Food & Drink:
There are snack and bar facilities available.
- Viewing:
You can get up close to the action from the middle of the course. However, you are unable to view the Winner’s Enclosure or Parade Ring from this Enclosure.

- New Nelson Stand
This new £2 million grandstand, opened in April 2005 provides a fantastic raceday facility for individuals to dine in style, overlooking the racecourse. Tables can be booked for £75 + VAT per person for 2 people or more. A large betting hall downstairs accomodates a further bar and small facilities.
- Owners and Trainers
The new Owners & Trainers Restaurant and bar facility which opened in 2002 has a smart dining area and bar snacks can also be provided if you are in a hurry to get back to the action. This facility, reputed to be one of the best in the U.K, is for the exclusive use of owners, Trainers and their connections on a race day, but is available to hire on non racedays for functions. The facility looks out onto the Parade Ring and Saddling Boxes, with c.c.t.v so that you won’t miss any of the action on the course.
- Children
There are various activities including bouncy castles and entertainment. On major race days there are kids’ quad bikes and falconry displays, ferret racing and lots lots more. Children aged 16 and under can enter for free when accompanied by an adult (at all race meetings).
- Betting
There are Tote and bookmaker facilities across the course.
- Parking
There is free car parking available at the course however if you which to park in the picnic area, entry is £20 per car (maximum 4 adults).
- Cash
There is a cashback facility at the Racecourse Office.
- Disabled
The course is flat and easily viewed. There is easy access for wheelchairs to a number of bars and restaurants. There are also viewing ramps for disabled racegoers.
- Hospitality
With a total of twelve suites accommodating parties from 10 to 60 guests, along with ideally situated smart marquee facilities far larger parties (up to 300+), there is plenty to choose from. All private suites enjoy closed circuit television, a private bar and a dedicated waitress service. Contact the racecourse for further details (Tel: 01738 551597).
- Non-race days
There are a range of suites, halls and marquees that ensure whatever your requirement Perth is likely to be able to cater for your needs. There are picturesque lawns and outdoor exhibition areas. Past events include business conferences, exhibitions, wedding receptions and dinner dances as well as vintage car rallies.
