The Paddock Bar on the ground floor of the Sussex stand offers a full bar service as well as typical hot and cold snacks. The Paddock Restaurant provides panoramic views of the track and three course meals. To book call 01273 890383.
- Viewing:
There are views over the Winning Post from the Stand where there are both seated and standing areas. There is access to all other facilities the course offers.
Grandstand
- Tickets:
£14 (admission includes a colour racecard). Grandstand tickets bought in advance £12.50.
- Food & Drink:
The Lewes Bar offers light meals and the famous Barry Cope Fish Bar as well as a fully stocked bar. The Southdown is a comfortable bar adjacent to the Tote betting shop. In addition there are a selection of fast food outlets for those who choose to eat on the run.
- Viewing:
Another stand to view from with indoor seating. There is access to the Parade Ring and Winner’s Enclosure.
Course
- Tickets:
£10 (admission includes a colour racecard). Badges bought in advance £8.50. - Food & Drink:
There is a bar in the centre of the course but most racegoers using this Enclosure tend to bring their own picnic.
- Viewing:
Up by the rails, this is as close to the action as you can get. There is no stand or access to the Parade Ring and Winner’s Enclosure.

Directions to Plumpton racecourse using Google Maps Getting to Plumpton takes you through the heart of the beautiful Sussex South Downs. By RailPlumpton Racecourse is ideally located for customers using the train, as Plumpton Station adjoins the Racecourse grounds, and our entrances are only a short five minute walk from the platforms. Plumpton is served by a regular train service between London Victoria and Hastings, and there are additional stopping services to Plumpton on racedays. By BusA direct bus service from Brighton to Plumpton Racecourse is run by Countryliner Coaches. The bus leaves Brighton train station 90 minutes before the first race, returning 30 minutes after the last race. A return ticket is £4. By RoadFrom the M25:
