Sandown Park is a unique racing experience; a stunning location, the course's famous hill finishes combine to create an environment full of excitement and nail biting close finishes.

You can soak up an electric atmosphere 26 times a year with our Jump and Flat racing seasons.

The pinnacle of the calendar is the Gold Cup Meeting in April.

 What to Wear

Dress code: we don't insist that gentlemen wear jackets and ties, nor ladies, hats. The style is 'smart casual'. We like collared shirts on gentlemen (including polo shirts and polo-necked jumpers). Jeans are acceptable, providing they're not torn. We can't accept trainers, non-tailored shorts, vests, football or rugby shirts.

Jump Racing Returns to Sandown Park

Sandown Park's opening meeting of the Jump season will provide a chance to see stars of the future in action as they all try to get their campaigns off to a triumphant start.

And it is also Gentleman's Day on 10 November. You can enjoy some complimentary treatments in the 'Grooming Stable' including complimentary massages from Redchat Aveda Lifestyle Salon & Spa and traditional wet shaves from Austin Reed, choose from a range of luxury products for men and gaze longingly at some bright and shiny 'boys' toys' from I Want One Of Those.

There will be a fun casino too with prizes to be won, burlesque performances during the afternoon and a live band after racing playing some classic 80's hits.

And here's a useful tip: it's worth spending a little time on your general turn-out as you could romp home to glory and win a fantastic prize in our Best Dressed Male competition!

 Did you know?

The world-renowned Wheelers Restaurant & Bar recently opened a branch at Sandown. Located in the Grandstand, it offers a wide range of seafood specialities, with no need to book a table. What's more, the bar stays open 2 hours after racing finishes, allowing you to avoid the rush back home in a relaxed environment.
